Hot Pirate Babes! The Fantasy Art of Tiger Lee

Hi Everyone!

As you know, my website Fantasy Art and Portraits presently showcases the fantasy art of computer games, so there's a lot of art out there that doesn't fit there at the moment. I can, however, introduce it to you on this blog.

Today, I'd like to introduce the art of HOT PIRATE BABES -- er, I mean, Tiger Lee.

If you remember from way back, I blogged about Catherine Somerlot and how her art involved transforming photographs into fantasy fine art. Tiger Lee uses a "pirate pin-up process" to combine and modify photographs for a similar result, where the real is changed into the drawing of an appropriate backdrop.

You'll probably stamp his Hot Pirate Babes calendar "trashy", but alongside the period-costumed naughtiness (as opposed to outright vulgarity) there's an air of fun female-empowerment in role-playing a pirate that helps it stand out from the piles of swimsuit calendars floating around as we come to the end of 2008.

Anyway, if you a legitimate reason to go: The site is sprinkled with informative bits on each page, such as "Impressment: Involuntary forced service in the British Navy during wartime", and a list of historical female pirates.
But you'll have to go through the various pages to find them. (-_^)

How fun. These are great Simon. These models and their voluptuous hotness put the skinny runway types to shame.
