Worth Visiting - Wacom Community Artist Gallery

The way to the Wacom Community Artist Gallery isn't particularly obvious from the international home page, and especially if you're in North America and clicked on that region. Regardless of where you are, it's definitely worth the side trip for the stunning artwork and exposure to Asian artists.

The [Wacom Community Artist Gallery] features works selected by Wacom staff from contests, professional artists, etc. for their variety, artistry, and for their demonstration of the abilities of Wacom pen tablets (though this is not a requirement). Due to overwhelming response, we can no longer handle direct requests for listing in popular categories of the Artist Gallery. Please post your artwork in the Community Gallery. Excellent work will be selected from time to time to be moved to the Artist Gallery.

Also neat to play around with this page on the Wacom main site: "Leonardo da Vinci encouraged his students to start at old neglected walls..."

As you know, my website presently showcases the fantasy art of computer games, so there's a lot of art out there that doesn't fit there at the moment. I can, however, introduce it to you on this blog.

Today, I'd like to introduce the art of Andrew Hibner (also on DeviantART).

Awesome Dragons - The Fantasy Art of Nick Deligaris

Hi Everyone!

As you know, my website presently showcases the fantasy art of computer games, so there's a lot of art out there that doesn't fit there at the moment. I can, however, introduce it to you on this blog.

Today, I'd like to introduce the art of Nick Deligaris. While he has awesome dragons, on par with Kerem Beyit, the rest of his portfolio is certainly worth a look. His resume includes 3D Models commissioned for the History Channel documentary series Ancient Discoveries.
You can browse his art conveniently on his website, or go to his DeviantART gallery for a portfolio that is smaller but with occasionally interesting commentary.

If you're curious about process, also worth checking out is a forum thread on ConceptArt where there are posts of work-in-progress pieces leading to the final piece.

Dark Wizard of Valdis - The Fantasy Art of Dungeon Siege II

Hi Everyone!

As you know, my website presently showcases the fantasy art of computer games. I quite recently embarked on a massive update to my Dungeon Siege II: Broken World section, and though far from complete, it's already got some spectacular scenes.

Even if you've played the game, you may want to have a look as I've used mods to enable close-ups, and only stills can capture some of the graphic details of animation that goes by so quickly. Here is a small selection from the Dark Wizard of Valdis.

The Fantasy Art of Adolie Day

Hi Everyone!

As you know, my website presently showcases the fantasy art of computer games, so there's a lot of art out there that doesn't fit there at the moment. I can, however, introduce it to you on this blog.

Today, I'd like to introduce the art of Adolie Day. Her beautiful portfolio appears to be mostly in the style of childrens' illustrations, with just a couple of fantasy themed ones that are definitely worth a look for their intriguing details:
