Battle for Middle Earth II: Rise of the Witch King is a fantasy strategy video game based on J.R.R. Tolkein's Middle Earth. It presents a campaign that occurs prior to the events in The Lord of the Rings. It retains the artwork from the previous versions of the game, which very closely follows the visualization in the Peter Jackson (director) Lord of the Rings motion picture trilogy.
