KUROS IS COMING - First Impressions of the Preview Version

Hi Everyone!

As you may now know, I have been one of the very few lucky people to be allowed a peek at Sandlot Games's new Hidden Object Adventure, KUROS. Here are some screens from the preview.

First impressions:
Full voice-overs for the main character! This totally adds to the immersion. (Plus the choice for the main character's voice is mature and with a hint of tough self-sufficiency. No hapless chick here. and yes, she has a tight leather outfit, but no gratuitous skin except for the fashionable exposed midriff.).

The Hidden Object portion follows in the best tradition of this sort of "adventure" game. Like the old classics King's Quest and newer games like Secret Missions: Mata Hari and the Kaiser's Submarines and Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery of the Persian Carpet, you are not presented with screen after screen after screen of backdrops cluttered with rubbish often scaled inappropriately in tricky and unlikely places simply to test your powers of observation. Instead, you are tasked to find things to accomplish tasks and the local objects are plausibly placed.

Here are screens showing the very early task of getting your bag. You need to find what are initially unlikely objects, and you're rewarded by seeing how they are put together into an inventive tool!
