The Fantasy Art of Christine von Lossberg

Hi Everyone!

As you know, my website Fantasy Art and Portraits presently showcases the fantasy art of computer games, so there's a lot of art out there that doesn't fit there at the moment. I can, however, introduce it to you on this blog.

Today, I'd like to introduce the art of Christine von Lossberg. There are some lovely pieces here, though not normally the method/medium I like as I find this type of colouring to have an unfortunate resemblance to childish crayon work; for this reason, I prefer not to view the art too close-up where such details tug at my attention. You can see the difference some distance gives to viewing the art in the final sample I have chosen (which includes the artist herself for size and distance perspective).

Hi, You choose to put my art here without my permission. I thought Okay, that is nice, no problem. Then you have to put me down for using color and that my details tug at your attention in some negative way. I spend time to create little things that people can find in my art as something fun to discover. I use all the colors because that is what excites me, that is why it is called Fantasy Art. My world is colorful..not all grays and browns. I don't know who you are as a critic. I would like to see what you create! I am a self taught artist and just create what I love, if someone else loves it or likes it then that is all good. I paint for my own pleasure the pure joy of creating and use all the colors that are available to create with. In my opinion we need more colors not less in the world!

My message to other artist's is use all your colors in your color box. Don't let others suppress you or your excitement as a artist. They never made a statue to a critic.
